Concert Previews

August 4, 5, 7 and 13

Formerly the Pre-Concert Talks, the Concert Previews are now held at 12:00 PM at The Community School Theater.  The 2010 Concert Previews on August 4, 5 and 7 are led by Peter Grunberg, Musical Assistant for the San Francisco Symphony.   Join Peter for a lively and engaging presentation about the music you will hear that night.  The Concert Previews are 45 minutes in length, making it possible for you to also attend the Sun Valley Summer Symphony’s afternoon rehearsal following the talk.

Join us for a special Concert Preview on August 13 titled “Meet the Composer!”  Nathaniel Stookey, composer and narrator of The Composer Is Dead, will lead a discussion about the composition process.  This Concert Preview will also be held at The Community School Theater at a special time of 11:00 AM.
