The Sun Valley Summer Symphony

The Sun Valley Summer Symphony celebrates the majesty of its Alpine setting with the beauty of outstanding free classical music performances, and enriches our lives through artistic, educational and cultural programming, made possible through the philanthropic generosity of its community.

Music Director’s Notes

Alasdair Neale
Welcome to the 25th Anniversary Season of the Sun Valley Summer Symphony! As with any anniversary, this is an opportunity to reflect on the achievements we’ve made over the years, not least of which, of course, is our wonderful new home that we inaugurated last year, the memories of which are still reverberating in my mind. So in many ways, last season is a tough act to follow. But I’ve assembled a season which I hope reflects what a special anniversary should be. Have a look at this year's lineup.
